The year is 2014. Deep within the Capital City of Roen, corruption, murder and greed are spreading their ugly wings across the land. The Church, the country’s governing body, has utterly failed to curb this swell of violence. While their pious subjects are threatened by rebels and mercenaries, the Lords of Roen remain safely removed from danger, guarded on high by silent assassins and the invisible keepers of the sacred peace; the Lord’s Prayers.

Roen is in need of salvation and this task, inadvertently, falls to Buda, a decorated veteran of the Prayers. Whilst shadowing a covert operation run by the nation’s shock troops, The Fallen Angels, Buda intervenes in the attempted assassination of a pretty, foul-mouthed Trade Officer named Rose Rowlan.

Fearing that they are both now enemies of the state, Buda and Rose team up to search for an answer to their predicament. To do so they must navigate the chaos of a country teetering on the brink of a full-blown civil war. Surrounded by uneasy allies and hunted by unknown enemies, our reluctant heroes are left in the fight for their lives. From battling the soldiers of the Church across sun-baked plateau’s, confronting suicidal rebels in scorched mountain reaches, infiltrating the highest echelons of the government and hunting for clues amidst the rubble of a murderous shanty town, Rose and Buda must attempt to uncover the truth…
